Venti WRC Turismo - FIA 8860

The Stlo Venti WRC 8860 helmet features a completely new shell design, engineered specifically to allow integration of the innovative Stilo 'WL' wireless communication system. The shell is made from carbon fibre to produce a lightweight, strong helmet that exceeds FIA 8860-2018 requirements. Specifically designed for use with the Stilo 'WL' wireless communications system, though fully compatible with all wired Stilo DG and WRC series intercoms. Adjustable microphone: the WRC 8860 Turismo is fitted with a new, easy-to-adjust microphone mount. To change the microphone position simply remove the standard lining and fit spacers that bring the microphone 5, 10 or 15 mm closer to your mouth. Ear protectors: sound-damping that reduces ambient noise, which can be problematic in racing cars; speakers not included per Turismo regulations. EPS cheek pads: the WRC 8860 Turismo is the only helmet on the market equipped with both ear protectors and cheek pads in EPS (expandable polystyrene). Using EPS cheek pads ensures better protection in side impacts. Adjustable visor: the visor can be raised or lowered to give the driver a clear view even when the sun is on the horizon. The Stilo Venti WRC 8860 Turismo helmet features a redesigned carbon-fibre shell constructed using PURO technology, eliminating the need for a clear coat. This further reduces weight, which can significantly reduce muscle fatigue. The helmet retains the proven Stilo WRC intercom system, but the communications port has been redesigned for use with the WL wireless key (sold separately) which, when fitted, sits neatly within the shell contours so as not to interfere with FHR posts or straps. The shape of the microphone boom has been improved to further reject cockpit noise, making communication between co-driver and driver clearer. The dynamic magnetic noise-cancelling microphone is adjustable to allow an optimal distance from your mouth to reduce ambient noise. Noise-cancelling earphones significantly reduce external noise and improve comfort levels. FIA 8860-2018 approved.
