An evolution of the Hybrid Pro Rage, the new Hybrid Sport improves design and technology to give the driver an upgraded product within the same price bracket as the previous model. The Hybrid Sport is lighter, with 20% less weight for the large size, hardware included; the DuPont carbon/polymer construction is streamlined, modern and attractive with defined wings for improved harness control. Sliding tethers and the multi-tether system enhance lateral range of motion and field of view. The Hybrid Sport is both SFI 38.1 and FIA certified. These M61 anchors replace the original Hans posts. Both the M61 helmet anchors and the quick-release tethers/straps are included with the M61 Quick Release option. HANS - Post Anchor: These tethers allow the driver to use the Hybrid device with helmets that already have standard HANS anchors fitted (or with the appropriate approval for anchors to be retrofitted). Approved for helmets meeting FIA 8858-2002/FIA 8858-2010 standard or higher. M61 - Quick Release: These tethers allow the driver to quickly release the Hybrid device by pulling the cord attached to the helmet. Approved for helmets meeting the FIA 8858-2010 standard or higher. Ideal for rallies where the helmet may be removed and re-fitted more frequently (for example between stages). Weight: approximately 956 grammes complete. FIA 8858-2010 approved.
